Żabin ((ドイツ語:Klein Szabienen), from 1936–38 ''Klein Schabienen'', from 1938–45 ''Kleinlautersee'') is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Banie Mazurskie, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) – TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 It lies approximately north of Banie Mazurskie, west of Gołdap, and north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia), and there are two cemeteries—one German, one Russian—from World War I located in the town.
